Cecylia Kłobukowska

Born in Poland, spent childhood years near Gdansk in the area of Kociewie.
Graduated from Gdansk University, Poland with Master Degree in Commerce (Management) and Otago University, New Zealand with  Diploma for Graduates in Accounting. 

Emigrated to New Zealand in 1986 with her veterinarian husband and two children. After living in Oamaru for 7 years family settled in Dunedin where Cecylia for 23 years taught accounting and economics in Columba College.

For her work on promoting and preserving Polish Heritage of Otago and Southland Cecylia was awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland the Gold Cross of Merit (2008) and the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland (2018)
